Woman told not to bomb out in rehab

Woman told not to bomb out in rehab

A new mom who was busted after explosives were found in her Greenwich Village apartment was all smiles Tuesday after getting released on bail â€" even as she went on her way to rehab.

The arraignment of Morgan Gliedman, 27, was delayed more than a week because her daughter’s arrival pre-empted the court proceeding.

Gliedman appeared in Manhattan Criminal Court on Tuesday afternoon, a residual bump visible under her loose brown tunic. She grinned after her father, well-known oncologist Dr. Paul Gliedman, bailed her out.

The new mom was off to rehab after bail bondsman Ira Judelson attached a court-ordered monitoring bracelet to the former prep-schooler’s ankle. Gliedman must attend 30 days of inpatient treatment and will continue to attend outpatient rehab upon her release, according to her bail agreement.

She was charged with having about $ 4,630 worth of stolen electronics and other items from a man she met at a bar after going to his Murray Hill apartment on Feb. 17.

She was also charged -- along with baby daddy Aaron Greene, 31 -- with multiple counts of weapons possession because the couple allegedly had explosive HMTD chemicals, a sawed-off shotgun and ammunition in their W. 9th St. apartment when cops executed a search warrant on Dec. 29. Bomb making pamphlets, including one marked “The Terrorist Encyclopedia,” were also found.

Gliedman was taken into custody but brought to the hospital to deliver her child by Caesarean section, while Greene was arraigned and ordered held without bail. Cops said both are admitted heroin users.

Gliedman and her father declined to comment Tuesday. Her attorney, Gerald Shargel, declined to comment on the case but confirmed that the newborn is with relatives.
