Golden Globes kickoff 70 years

"Amour," the drama about an elderly French couple facing illness and death, won Best Foreign Language Film. The film is considered a shoon for the same award at next month's Oscars. 

Mychael Danna won Best original Score for his ethereal music for "Life of Pi." It beat out "Lincoln," "Argo," "Cloud Atlas," and "Anna Karenina." Adele's title number for the James Bond blockbuster "Skyfall" won Best Original Song. 

"I'm here for a night out, I'm a new mum, I just came here for a night out, I wasn't expecting this!' She thanked 007 star Daniel Craig for "being such a wonderful Bond."
