Actress/ model Barbara Dacoscos claims Samsung Electronics America tried to take her to the cleaners by recycling a photo of her.

Dishwasher advertising is a dirty business - or so says a new lawsuit.

Actress/ model Barbara Dacoscos claims Samsung Electronics America recycled her photo last year for print ads pushing its $ 699 home dishwasher.

Dascosco, whose appeared in the movies "Hitch" and "The School of Rock," signed a June 2009 deal agreeing to appear in the campaign for 18 months, according to the lawsuit.

But her photo was re-used after the agreement had expired, and without her permission, in ads that ran in January and July 2012.

Dascosco is demanding $ 600,000 from Samsung and P.C. Richard & Son - which ran the ads for the Samsung dishwasher.

The 19-page court filing also seeks to block further use of her image. She has previously appeared in ads for Microsoft, Proctor & Gamble and Nikon.

Samsung declined comment through a spokeswoman, while P.C. Richard did not return a call about the suit.
