Bruce Willis takes aim in 'Red 2'
It's hard enough to be able to afford retirement for anyone in this day and age.
For Bruce Willisâ retired assassin Frank Moses in âRed 2â it seems down right impossible judging from the first teaser trailer for the sequel to the surprise 2010 hit.
The 1 minute, 50-second trailer opens up in a Costco like megastore of all places, with a relucatant Mosesâs shopping being interrupted by John Malkovichâs loopy hitman, Marvin.
â"I'm retired. I'm happy, we're happy,â Moses pleads.
âYou haven't killed anyone in months,â retorts Marvin.
âThat's a positive thing,â says Moses.
Of course, that killing slump doesnât look to last long. Cue the bullets, explosions and car chases after a phone call from fellow AARP pinup Helen Mirrenâs mysterious Victoria warning our hero that sheâs been offered a contract by MI:6 to snuff him out.
âIt's important to enjoy life while you still can,â she says, disposing of a dead body in a bathtub with bleach as she speaks on the phone.
In addition to returnees Willis, Malkovich, Mirren and Mary Louise-Parker, âRed 2â has reloaded with some new faces. Mirrenâs âHitchcockâ co-star, Anthony Hopkins shows up in the trailer with a âSilence of the Lambsâ-inspired cameo and Korean action star Byung-hun Lee leaves his footprint on Willisâ chest.

Anthony Hopkins makes an impression in 'Red 2'
But the trailer is stolen by Catherine Zeta-Jonesâ femme fatale, who walks up to Moses and plants a long kiss in front of his current girlfriend.
âHow are things,â asks Zeta Jonesâ character after the awkward kiss.
âYeah, Frank how are things,â retorts Parkerâs Sarah.
âRed 2â â" very loosely based on the graphic novel by Warren Ellis and directed by âGalaxy Questâsâ Dean Parisot â" hits theaters on August 2.
