Bandit shoots livery cabbie

Bandit shoots livery cabbie

A bandit shot and wounded a livery car driver during a vicious robbery attempt in the Bronx, cops said.

The crook whipped out a pistol in the victim’s vehicle on the corner of White Plains Road and Lafayette Ave. in Soundview around 5:10 a.m. and demanded money, police sources said.

The creep then blasted the livery driver three times and bolted.

The robber left empty-handed because the driver had no money, police said.

Cops said the attacker is probably in his 20s and was last seen dressed in a tan bubble jacket and a hoodie with “Abercrombie” on the front.

The livery driver, who was hit in the shoulder and stomach, was in stable condition Sunday night at Jacobi Medical Center, cops said.
