The campaign to ban horse-drawn carriages in the city has a new celebrity benefactor - Miley Cyrus’s little sister.

Child actress Noah Cyrus, an avid horse rider, used her 13th birthday Tuesday to raise cash for the group trying to scrap the Central Park carriages that critics say are inhumane.

She urged friends and fans to celebrate her “"Tweet13 Birthday" by giving $ 13 or more to New Yorkers for Clean, Livable and Safe Streets instead of gifts, or signing a petition to get rid of the carriages.

"When I first learned about the inhumane treatment of horses in New York City, I was devastated. As a rider, I would never put my horse at risk in dangerous midtown traffic,” Cyrus said.

NYCLASS lead organizer Allie Feldman said the group has been working with the Cyrus girls’ mom Tish since first getting in touch with her on Twitter over a year ago. The clan owns several horses.

“When Noah turned 13, she and her mother got in touch with us and decided that they wanted to try and raise awareness as part of her birthday,” she said.

“We think it’s great she’s become this mini-horse activist at such a young age.”

The group is pushing a bill that would ban the horse carriages and replace them with electric-powered vintage cars, which has so far been blocked in the City Council. Now they’re pushing for permission to run one or two of the cars through Central Park as prototypes.
