'Cougar' Courteney Cox will hold a 'Naked Day'

“Cougar Town” may get a little sexier as it moves next Tuesday from its three-year run on ABC to a new home on TBS.

Though it might be hard for star Courteney Cox’s Jules Cobb to increase her affection for wine, Cox and creator Bill Lawrence said Friday she can shave a little off her wardrobe.

“In one episode, Jules and her new husband Grayson [Josh Hopkins] have ‘Naked Day,’ ” said Cox. “It’s a way to keep their marriage fresh.”

While the scenes were filmed discreetly, Cox said it was still an acting challenge.

“It turned out there was only one place in the whole house where the lighting worked for everything,” she said. “Step away from that spot and it all went to pieces.”

Lawrence added that this episode may not be quite as exotic as viewers might expect.

“Someone said it was sexy for five minutes, then it was just two middle-aged people with their clothes off,” he joked.

He also said, with a straight face, that Cox had declared this “the year of cleavage.”

“It’s true,” said Cox. “There will be not one scene where you won’t see my boobs.

“I want to start taking the focus away from my face, so I’m having them move it down. I figure as I continue to get older, eventually I will be fully nude. I hope it works.”
