Us Weekly hits stands nationally Friday with a huge Kardashian exclusive â€" too bad it’s not the one you want to read about. Kourtney Kardashian, not newly pregnant Kim, graces the cover, gushing about her 44-pound weight loss since giving birth to baby Penelope five months ago. Kinda makes the celeb mag look dated.

The weekly gossip magazines all missed printing a story about Kanye’s announcement on Sunday at his Atlantic City concert, and can blame the New Year’s holiday schedule, along with matriarch Kris Jenner, for not tipping them off about Kim. Because presses were closed on Tuesday, Us, which goes to print every Tuesday, closed the latest issue on Friday and went to print Monday. Now editors are fuming about the bad luck, because Kourtney was paid $ 200,000 for the exclusive photo shoot and interview about her post-baby diet.

“Us paid for the Kardashian exclusive; they are livid now. After all the press they’ve given the girls, they’re furious,” says an Us insider. “Clearly Kris knew about this. She negotiated Kourtney’s deal with them. They’ve given the family millions over the years for exclusives; they expected at least the first tip.”

In addition to infuriating editors, Kris feels like she lost a potential $ 500,000 paycheck that Kim could have gotten for her bun-in-the-oven announcement if Kanye West hadn’t instructed the crowd to “make some noise for my baby mama.” But another magazine higher-up tells Confidenti@l that Kim’s payday would have been much lower â€" more like $ 100,000.

“Sometimes the baby announcement sells more than the baby pics,” says the Us insider. “Kris runs that family like a machine. She wanted the control over when and where they make their money. The contract states that they have Kourtney exclusively for two weeks, but they’re more interested in Kim.”

Jennifer Aniston’s Cabo vacation with tatted-up fiancé Justin Theroux and Bethenny Frankel’s separation from husband of two years Jason Hoppy also made mentions on the cover.

An Us Weekly spokesperson declined comment.

WE ALL MAY BE IN THE BIEBS’ DEBT

Justin Bieber believes you can get a charge out of him â€" even if some financial institutions disagree.

The world’s most popular teenager is throwing his weight behind a prepaid debit card, just as the Kardashian sisters and Suze Orman did before him. Unlike 2010’s short-lived “Kardashian Kard,” which cost users nearly $ 60 for six months use, plus penalties when the card is declined, The Biebs’ Spendsmart plastic seems to have a heart.

In a partnership with BillMyParents, the Justin-Bieber-endorsed card comes with a modest $ 3.95 monthly charge, though it does include a $ 3 inactivity fee if its user doesn’t spend any money for 90 days. Prepaid cards are often the domain of consumers with poor or nonexistent credit ratings.

It’s the hope of BillMyParents that Bieber’s massive electronic media network, which includes more than 30 million Twitter followers and almost 50 million Facebook fans, will introduce his tween and beyond audience to purchasing with plastic. Surely Team Bieber wouldn’t be too upset if those fans used their new cards to purchase his Jan. 29 release, “Believe Acoustic,” on iTunes, where they don’t take cash.
