Jenni Rivera, seen here in Irvine, California, died in a plane crash in Mexico. Her family  is reportedly upset that someone apparently shared footage of her remains from the crash site.

As Jenni Rivera’s family members mourn her tragic death, they are reportedly outraged that someone apparently shot and leaked a video of the singer’s remains from the fatal plane crash.

The family is trying to erase as much of the footage â€" which disturbingly includes mangled body parts â€" from the Internet as possible. They are appalled that a first responder may be responsible for such an offense, reported TMZ.

Two Mexican cops, 23 and 24, were arrested for allegedly stealing items from the crash site and at least one of them is accused of leaking the photographs, government officials said.

The video has not been confirmed as authentic but the family reportedly thinks it is, based on the visible items and a few particularly troubling shots.

The most painful image for the beloved Mexican-American singer’s family is said to include a severed foot with painted toenails.

"Jenni was very particular about her feet and toes,” a source told TMZ.

The Riveras reportedly wants the court of law to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Rivera’s remains were flown to Long Beach Airport in California hours after her brothers Juan, Gus and Lupillo Rivera identified her remains at the crash site in Nuevo León, Mexico, according to Fox News Latino.

"We have received 100 percent confirmation that my sister Jenni is gone to be with the Lord," her brother Pedro Rivera Jr. confirmed at a press conference Thursday.

The family is preparing for a funeral next week in Los Angeles. The services might be open to the public, allowing her many fans to pay last respects. However, the family has not yet confirmed such an arrangement.

Rivera was only 43 years old when she died in the plane crash along with six other people on Dec. 9.

The cause of the plane crash is still under investigation, reported Hollywood Life.
