Jessica Simpson (at right with husband Erik Johnson) announced her pregnancy with tweeted picture of her first child, Maxwell Drew Johnson, next to the words “Big Sis.”

The star tweeted a holiday pic of her first child, Maxwell Drew Johnson, looking delicious in a candy-cane striped onesie. Written in the sand right in front of her are the words “Big Sis.”

“Merry Christmas from my family to yours!” tweeted the 32-year-old Simpson on Tuesday.

The tweet confirmed rumors that have been circulating since late November.

Simpson wasn’t planning on getting pregnant again, according to Us Weekly. The former singer has a $ 4 million endorsement deal with Weight Watchers. She lost at least 60 pounds on the program, but now, the company is going to have to figure out what to do about Simpson’s baby bump.

Weight Watchers is keeping it merry today. The company tweeted, “Congrats to @JessicaSimpson, Eric and big-sister-to-be Maxwell! Your WW family is so thrilled for you. what an amazing year you’ve had!”

The holiday announcement comes just seven months after the birth of Simpson’s first child with former NFL player Eric Johnson. She has been engaged to Johnson for two years.

Simpson told the world about her first pregnancy via a Halloween message. She dressed up as a mummy, clutched her tummy, and wrote, “It’s True! I am going to be a mummy.”
