After a training session, Scuggs tweeted: “I thought a Santa hat would make boxing better today. That prediction proved very false.”

Lauren Scruggs might have lost an arm and an eye, but it’ll take more than that to get this blond beauty out of the gym.

In a recent Instagram photo, Scruggs showed her followers that she hasn’t lost her can-do attitude or her Christmas spirit. She donned a Santa hat during boxing training with coach Sheri Walters, tweeting, “I thought a Santa hat would make boxing better today. That prediction proved very false.”

The 24-year-old model and fashion blogger goes on to reveal that the intense session was both grueling and painful.

“I almost broke my ankle and my thumb. Yikes,” she wrote.

But her coach admired her drive.

“Seems to have worked for you,” Walters replied on Instagram. “I have bruises everywhere. My patella (kneecap) will never be the same … permanent Adidas logo on it from your shoe!!!”

SCRUGGS FELT UNEASY RIGHT BEFORE HER ACCIDENT

Scruggs has been kicking butt for a while now. She’s been wearing a prosthetic arm ever since an accident with a plane propeller last year ripped off her left arm, struck out one of her eyes, and injured her brain. It’s taken a long time for her to recover, both physically and mentally, but a pic from earlier this week suggests that she’s well on her way.

Walters tweeted out the photo, which showcases Scruggs’s lean and fit new bod, saying, “@LaurenScruggs getting it done today @APcoach What did you do today??”

Fans have called Scruggs, nicknamed Lolo, an “inspiration.”

“I need to be working out ugh!!” said @blazzin_red on Instagram. “(You’re) my motivation!!”

Scruggs is now off all of her pain medication. It seems the combination of physical therapy and personal coaching has been helping Scruggs strengthen her body and mind.

“It has been empowering to accomplish physical goals on a daily basis at Athletes’ Performance,” Scruggs said in an interview with Today.com.
