Tom Cruise may have cast a new co-star for the romantic drama that is his life.
Less than six months after his divorce from Katie Holmes, the 50-year-old “Jack Reacher†star had a passionate date with a brunette Queens native half his age, including some dirty dancing at the trendy Mulberry St. club, Le Baron.
"He was mesmerized by Cynthia," a witness to the Dec. 18 date told In Touch magazine, which broke the story. "She had her hair in a bun, wore tight black pants and looked gorgeous."
Cruise’s new leading lady has been identified as Cynthia Jorge, 26, a restaurant manager at Manhattan eatery Beauty & Essex and a freelance publicist.
“As a New Yorker, I have learned that in order to succeed, one must work fast, strike hard and make every move count,†she wrote on her Linked In profile.
And their budding romance is something straight out of a Hollywood script: Jorge slipped Cruise her card two days earlier when the actor was about to leave her restaurant after a lunch meeting with business associaties, according to the gossip magazine.
It had been a rough year for Cruise, who had been reportedly blindsided and “devastated†by Holmes’ divorce filing in June.
“Kate has filed for divorce and Tom is deeply saddened and is concentrating on his three children. Please allow them their privacy,†Cruise’s rep said in a statement to the Daily News at the time.

His 34-year-old ex, who has moved to Manhattan, ended up with full custody of their 7-year-old daughter Suri.
On Dec. 18, at least, Cruise seems to have moved on as he salsaed his way across the dance floor with Jorge.
"It was obvious," the witness told In Touch. "He's enamored with this woman."
