Lindsay Lohan rallying help to stay out of new trouble this time

Lindsay Lohan rallying help to stay out of new trouble this time

Lindsay Lohan is finally trying to clean up her act.

The troubled 26-year-old “Liz & Dick” star is making changes so she doesn’t end up in the slammer, sources close to LiLo tell Confidenti@l.

First on her list: Just saying no. An insider tells us while it’s no surprise some Lohan friends are acting like she’s a social pariah, the actress is doing the same with some of her party pals, too.

“She hasn’t been texting and calling back some of the people who she just parties with,” says a source, who has been with La Lohan at the Electric Room, Catch, Cabin Down Below and Avenue, where Lohan allegedly punched a palm reader in November and where sources told Confidenti@l she is no longer welcome.

“She is realizing there are people in her life who are bad influences, who think it’s funny when she wants to fill water bottles with alcohol and go out, or stay out all night at nightclubs in New York and look sloppy in photos. These aren’t her real friends.”

The insider says she’s trying to be more careful, considering she’s potentially facing 245 days in jail for a recent probation violation unless she cleans up her act.

The same source says Lohan’s cited a comparison of her “friendship” with Max George of the Wanted to that of Taylor Swift and Harry Styles of One Direction. “She knows how everyone looks up to Taylor, and what a good image she has,” says the insider. “But it’s totally different when you're acting like a groupie.”

One friendship she is cultivating is with a spiritual guru. According to reports, she wants the guru to write letters on her behalf to the judge hearing her case, to help demonstrate that jail time isn’t the best option for her. (The judge has the option to send her to counseling instead.)

A second source close to LiLo tells us this isn’t the first time she’s sought advice from a spiritual adviser. “There was a woman who she was introduced to a few years ago who worked with the Ronson family she met when she was with Samantha,” says the insider. “She worked with a lot of big celebrities.”

A ‘GLEE’-FUL OUTCOME

Ryan Murphy is responsible for both fictional and real-life romances. At the “It Gets Better” concert benefit on Sunday, aptly titled “A Better Holiday,” two female contestants from “The Glee Project” stepped out for the first time as a real-life couple. Ali Stroker, a paraplegic due to a car accident, and Dani Shay attended the event, which included singers Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin, Madame Mayhem and photographer Victor Haim.

“This is my first great love affair,” said Stroker, 25, who came in second on the second season of the program. “I didn’t know what to expect.”

The couple plan to go home separately to their families for the holidays, but Shay, who was eliminated in the second episode this season, will introduce her girlfriend of a year to her family during New Year’s.

The couple said their co-stars on the show knew “pretty much from the beginning, but kept it a secret.” The pair will release a music video on Tuesday titled “One,” documenting their first year as a couple and how they met.

TATUM PROJECT’S IN DEVELOPMENT

Oh, baby! Channing Tatum, People’s Sexiest Man Alive, is expecting his first child with wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum, the couple have confirmed. The “Magic Mike” star, who is expecting his bundle of joy sometime in 2013, met Dewan-Tatum on the set of “Step Up” in 2006. They married in Malibu in 2009.

BLOOMBERGS GET PIGGY

There is a new member of the Bloomberg clan: Wilbur the pig. Georgina Bloomberg, who already has five rescue dogs, brought home the abandoned pig from Bergen County Animal Control after Hurricane Sandy left the pet stranded in an animal shelter. “He is exactly like a dog; just a little bit more hungry,” the spirited daughter of Mayor Bloomberg told Confidenti@l. “He’s completely house trained, really intelligent and well behaved. And he knows his name.” Does Hizzoner approve? “He came to Gracie [Mansion] for Thanksgiving and met the family.” Bloomberg continues her humanitarian efforts and will be attending the Humane Society of the United States’ To The Rescue! Gala Tuesday evening at Cipriani.

BEING SUPERSTAR IS TOUGH

There’s nothing super about this arrest: A source outside the Cabin Down Below, the East Village hangout of hip A-list celebs, was shocked to see cops enter and leave with 34-year-old musician Har Mar Superstar, who left the club in cuffs. “Hey man,” a source says Superstar, whose real name is Sean Matthew Tillman, said to a pal outside Cabin. “Getting arrested.” According to police reports, he was arrested at 2:15 a.m. in a buy-and-bust operation, charged with cocaine possession and unlawful possession of marijuana, and given a desk appearance ticket. A spokeswoman for the musician had no comment.

LOOKS LIKE MOORE TROUBLE

Demi Moore was in rehab in February, and the star could be heading back as friends grow increasingly concerned about her fragile state. “Everyone’s worried for her. She’s been severely depressed and embarrassed by how she acted,” a source tell Confidenti@l. Moore was spotted behaving bizarrely at Miami Art Basel earlier this month. Sources say she is really “saddened by her daughters’ reaction” â€" Confidenti@l exclusively reported that her daughters were cutting ties to her â€" and “hopes to make amends with them soon.” Moore checked in to rehab in January to deal with substance-abuse issues.

FOX MISSED A MOTHER LODE

If she could do it all over again, Megan Fox would have cashed in on being pregnant. Fox, mom to 3-month-old son Noah, regrets missing her big payday. “Fox is pissed she didn’t endorse a workout video after giving birth,” an insider tells Confidenti@l. “She was offered several opportunities, but she declined because of her recovery, and now she is upset she didn’t seize the opportunity.” Sources say Fox could have made about $ 10 million from a video.

SCARLETT STARTS CATTING AROUND

The roof isn’t the only thing that’s hot on Broadway tonight. Scarlett Johansson will be on the Great White Way in a barely there peach-colored slip that will have tongues wagging, thanks to “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof’s” costume-designer, Julie Weiss. She also created clothes for the film “Hitchcock,” in which ScarJo played screen siren Janet Leigh. “When Scarlett came for her fitting for the play, she was already Maggie the Cat,” Weiss told News theater critic Joe Dziemianowicz. “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” starts Tuesday at the Richard Rodgers Theatre.

RYAN'S HOPE

Ryan Murphy is responsible for both fictional and real-life romances. At the “It Gets Better” concert benefit on Sunday at XL at the OUT NYC, aptly titled “A Better Holiday,” two female contestants from “The Glee Project” stepped out for the first time as a real-life couple. Ali Stroker, a paraplegic due to a car accident, and Dani Shay attended the event, which included singers Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin, Madame Mayhem and photographer Victor Haim.

RITTER A QUITTER ON DRESS

Krysten Ritter has learned not to trust bondage â€" or at least outfits inspired by them. The actress made an unpleasant birthday decision at the Bank at the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas on Saturday when she chose a too-tight birthday outfit. “She was so uncomfortable she had to take if off immediately,” a source tells Confidenti@l. After releasing herself from the outfit, however, the “Don’t Trust the Bâ€" in Apt. 23” star and pals hit the private dining room, where they had a blast. “Krysten ran around saying hi to everyone,” said an onlooker. Ritter was later presented with a gorgeous birthday cake and spent the rest of the night dancing .

STRITCH’S BAD BREAK

A notable guest was missing at the New York premiere of “Show Stopper: The Theatrical Life of Garth Drabinsky” on Sunday night. Elaine Stritch, who has taken part in a number of Drabinsky productions, couldn’t attend the Peggy Seigal Co. event at DGA Theater “because she broke her hip,” says an in-the-know source. “She was coming out of her hotel where she’s taking [at the Carlyle] and had a slight fall,” says the source, who added that it was enough to break the hip of the “30 Rock” guest star. Stritch “is resting comfortably in her Carlyle hotel suite,” says a second source close to the veteran actress. A rep for Stritch did not return requests for comment.
